3rd RMTC 2009 Quarterly Medal
August 21, 2009The third Quarterly Medal Competition of 2009 will be played on Saturday 29 August. As before, it will be a round-robin, handicap singles event played on the clock in morning and afternoon groups. Morning and afternoon tea and a light lunch is included. Most importantly, winners of the Quarterly Medal competitions qualify to compete in the Medal of Medallists knockout tournament on Finals Day on 7 December.
To enter this competition, please contact the pros on 9429 8744 or email pros@rmtc.com.au Don’t forget to let them know whether you want to play in the morning or afternoon competition. There is also a sign-up sheet at the club. Places are limited, so don’t delay.

The Roo Trophy 2010.
June 26, 2009I advise that, contrary to the dates published in this year’s tennis calendar, the Roo Trophy will take place from Monday 18 January to Saturday 23 January.
It is envisaged that the format will be as in 2008 – knock-out singles with repechage, & round-robin doubles – and that entry forms will be available in September/October, to close at the end of the year.

Alan Hamer Club Doubles Final – Monday Night
June 12, 2009Come in and watch the club doubles final this Monday at 6pm and at the same time take the opportunity to introduce a friend or two to the club. The match should be brilliant as assuming everything goes according to the seedings it will be a Snow/Heughan v. Happell/Richardson final.

Sherwood Cup (h’cap 50+ club championship)
April 27, 2009The Sherwood Cup is coming up on Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th May. This tournament is played off level for those of a 50+ handicap. Format dependent on entries. Interested players should contact the pros to sign up.
